I realize some of you have been visiting as we have been developing this store. It doesn't come together overnight, but it is rather a work in progress, much like building a model railroad. If you visit a layout while the benchwork is being built, it doesn't look like much and it certainly doesn't function like a railroad yet, but there is a promise behind it all of better things to come.
So that's where we are with the store. Actually, we are far beyond the benchwork and are getting into the details now and that's what really makes it work. I was concerned mostly about the navigation which was a big hurdle to overcome and the fact that some of the links didn't work yet. But all of that is much better now.
Thank you for being patient with us as we go through this process. The site is mostly functioning very well at this point. You should feel safe and secure when you order anything. We have taken great pains to maintain your privacy and security.
If you find any problems in the system, please report them in the comments below and we will work on fixing them right away. And for your patience and understanding, we will give everyone a discount of 10% for the next 30 days, or until January 10, 2026.
Shipping and returns are always free. For now, we are only shipping to locations within the continental USA.
As you can tell by the title, this is intended to be a "Mom & Pop" store for the whole family although you must be 16 or over to order anything. We sell many items for the serious "rivet-counting" model railroaders, but there are also nice gifts for the spouses, not to mention fun and educational STEM gifts for the younger folks as well. So you can potentially do all your Christmas shopping from one place. However, I must say that I think it's good to get out and go to some of the physical stores as well. After all they need some business too. And it helps us all get in the spirit of the Season.
