One of our affiliates, the Model Railroad Museum of Hampton Roads is supported entirely by donations, both monetary and physical. Lots of folks have trains in the attic that they no longer need or want so they donate them to a good cause, like our non-profit Museum which provides an educational service to the community. We sell these items for the Museum which provides them with some monetary income that they can use to operate and fund itself. These products have all been tested by train experts and are verified to be in good working order. Many are in excellent condition and have never been used. If they are not in good condition, we will tell you that in the description and the price will be lowered accordingly. Some may only be good for the parts that can be harvested from them. We still guarantee them such that if you don’t think they are worth what you paid for them, you may return them for a full refund. For every item like this that you buy, know that you are supporting a great community service that would not be here without your help.
